In her formative years, Daniela grew up in a traditional Italian family where big mouths, big meals and a big heart for family traditions were so valued.

Daniela has had a passion for cooking from the young age of 8 years old. Watching her mom and grandmother prepare homemade Italian specialties was the norm for her. Daniela took that passion of food with her when she co-owned and operated a restaurant, Mediterranean Cafe, located in the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Campus for 20 years. She now has a Catering Service called “Daniela’s Delicious Dishes” where she shares her delicious meals with the community.

Daniela has had her share of struggles and challenges throughout her life such as Domestic Violence relationships, sexual trauma, depression, an eating disorder and anxiety disorder. With the help of her husband Emilio, she shared her story a couple years ago in her first co-authorship. By doing so she has inspired many women by being vulnerable and has encouraged them to do the same. Daniela continues to spread her message, especially to young girls who may be in an abusive relationship and help them to see they don’t have to settle and can get out before it’s too late.

In her free time she enjoys cooking, yoga, working out, walks on the beach and spending time with family, especially her two adorable grandsons Tomas and Sebastian. She is passionate about continuing on her journey of self-love and self-development, and helping women share their story and find their inner strength and peace.
