A Narrow Road Worth Achieving: The Experiences of A Business Owner By: Jay Perez The road to success is narrow. It's meant to test your limits. Yet, a lot of people seem to forget... Nothing worth achieving will come easy. With that said, I want to share what I’ve learned along my journey. ● Setbacks will happen ● Who you surround yourself with will determine your success ● Comparing yourself will destroy your momentum ● YOU MUST show up for yourself every day The Lessons Learned When I say “setbacks” I mean you’re likely to want to give up. In fact, no one would blame you if you did give up, but that isn’t the point. The point of any success story is consistency. Don’t let setbacks determine your outcome. To reach your goals you’ll need to purge your inner circle. Toxic, hateful people won't be able to aid you. If you want to be a success, surround yourself with people who you aspire to be. It’s equally important you never compare your journey with others. Gary Vee said it best “You’re not lost, you’re just early in the process”. Your experiences will give you all the tools you need. There is one sure way to succeed no matter what. Show up. Show up when you have good days, bad days, and ugly days. If you do this one thing you’ll achieve anything, and everything. The question is...do you have the mindset for that lifestyle? What I Have Achieved, and How You Can Too When I started Exuvus I quickly narrowed down my business core values... Commit. Execute. Conquer. These core values represent the mindset I had during my early years as an entrepreneur. I had to commit to a goal, and show up for it. I had to stick to a plan, and execute each day. I had to conquer whatever came my way, and not let hardships determine my success. The FastBar Pro is a fitness equipment I invented while building my coaching business. That piece of equipment is a perfect example of pushing through hard times, because at first I was laughed at. Yet, I didn’t let that stop me. I kept going, and as I got better, the FastBar Pro got even better, and now I have more orders then I can keep up with. Now I’m in a place where I can help others achieve their success story. All my experiences have led me to starting Genovix, a business consulting agency. With Genovix I want to give you, and your business a head start by providing you the tools and resources you need to grow, and expand. By joining Genovix your business is guaranteed to not only survive, but thrive. Overall, the road to success is meant to mold you to your purpose. Welcome the struggles, and enjoy the life you’re paving, because your success journey is best lived when you remember... Anything worth achieving is never easy.
